During the COVID pandemic, like many parents, he balanced teaching his daughters alongside his wife while managing professional responsibilities. In searching for wholesome, high-quality content for his children, he found existing options lacking in value-based, kingdom inspired storytelling.
This realization led to the creation of Captivated Kids, a foundation committed to producing engaging animations that nurture imagination and moral growth. Chris’s strong business expertise, developed through years of project development and leadership in fund management, has been instrumental in launching this impactful foundation.

At home, Rhys enjoys family time with his wife, two sons, and Goldendoodle, often playing guitar or catching sunsets in Charleston, SC—all while staying committed to building a better world for kids.
